Not sure what to get family and friends for Christmas?

It seems to get more difficult every year with people having all that they need, so why not do some thing a bit different this year!

Swindon Ocotal Link (SOL) have come up with the great idea of producing gift tokens to give people “the gift that gives again”. Plus 100% of the money goes to the project NO ADMIN COST.  click here for more details

SOL works at a number of different levels. It promotes the very important civic link between the two communities of Swindon and Ocotal. SOL also promotes direct linking between groups and organisations, including school and hospital links, and supports a variety of development projects in Ocotal. One of the most impressive results of over 10 years of linking has been the overwhelming support shown by the community of Swindon following the devastation caused by Hurricane Mitch in Ocotal.

Personal links

A key component of SOL’s work continues to be to develop personal links between the two towns.  Each year, people from Ocotal and Swindon travel to their sister town to celebrate the friendship and support we offer each other. People from Swindon now regularly make the trip to Ocotal and all come back speaking of the hospitality, friendship and sense of community their experience. SOL represents the growing family of mutual friendship and respect between the two towns. click here to find out more about SOL’s work
